If you are in a car coming from the West on the A64 I would recommend using the free Park & Ride by turning left off the Grimston Bar roundabout towards York and the Park is approximately half a mile on the left. It is all on tarmac and then just hop on the bus to get dropped off at the show-field entrance. Buses run every 10-15 minutes. Second recommendation is to spend some time looking around all the small independent businesses and engineers who have a fantastic range of bespoke and innovative products. Start in the Ebor Hall behind the cattle docks as there is a great selection of stands in there plus many of these have some Early Bird discount vouchers for a bacon sandwich! At lunchtime we have got a fantastic hog roast on in the main catering marquee and then is the alternative of a Roaming Rumpus Shorthorn burger.
