Details have now been announced of a high-profile programme of seminars to take place in the Ebor Ring under the important banner of “Agricultural Polices for the Next Decade: where are we going and what do we do?”  Starting at 11.00am, Jeremy Moody, Secretary and advisor to the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and with a background of dealing with governments on policy matters will focus on agricultural policies for the next decade.  The impact of these new policies on farming businesses will be discussed at 12.00pm by Davina Fillingham, partner at Stephenson & Son and Nuffield Farming Scholar.  A view from the banking sector will follow at 1.30 from Geoff Hall, Area Director for Lloyds Bank Agricultural Department and finally at 2.00pm Luck Crossman from Market Intelligence at AHDB will discuss how farmers can prepare for a changing market-place with a particular focus on red meat.
